This weekend was festival #3 for the last 2 months. It was in DC as you can see. There were lots of bands and speakers and cool stuff to do (all free, too!). The highlight for me was, of course, Steven Curtis Chapman. He talked about his family,his adoptions from China, and just what God was doing in his life. I'm constantly encouraged through his music and his life.
How amazing is it to see the capitol all lit up behind the stage! There were thousands of people there singing and praising. It was an amazing experience that I enjoyed so very much. It made me realize once again how blessed we, Americans, are to live in a country with so much freedom. We have so much to be thankful for.
