I got sucked into this book tonight for a while. I LOVE stories of old houses and the stories behind them. I'd love to be able to happen upon some of these and even see them in their old ruined state. Steamer trunks full of early 1900's dresses and gowns. Old books and furniture. Don't know how perfectly accurate the tales are, but my goodness they make for a wonderful read.

lost in time
